For years, high performing individuals have consulted and worked with Life Coaches or NLP practitioners to deal with or combat stress in the workplace.

These methods use reframing and affirmations on a conscious level to stimulate new models, patterns and motivations and while this can be extremely effective in the short term, if the clients’ core beliefs are not redressed at a subconscious level, theautomatic behaviour patterns will simply continue.

Hypnotherapy differs from coaching in that during hypnotherapy, the conscious mind is bypassed so that the therapist can communicate directly with the subconscious, and as long as the individual is willing, can affect profound and create lasting change.

Hypnosis allows clients to focus intently on a specific problem and its resolution while maintaining a comfortable state of physical relaxation. In this state of deep relaxation, clients are able to regain control over their body’s physical response to stress rather than the body going into its default mode of high alert. Clients find their new response to stress enables them to think clearly, deal with situations calmly and effectively and make precise and defined decisions.
